2:28. এখবর পেয়ে য়োয়াব খুব ভয পেয়ে গেলেন| য়োয়াব অবশালোমকে সমর্থন না করলেও আদোনিয়র পক্ষে ছিলেন| তাই য়োয়াব তাড়াতাড়ি প্রভুর তাঁবুতে গিয়ে প্রাণ বাঁচানোর জন্য বেদীর শরণ নিলেন|

2:28. When the news reached Joab (for Joab had supported Adonijah, although he had not supported Absalom), he ran to the tent of the LORD and grabbed hold of the horns of the altar.
